I was trying to check the allergen details before placing an order because it’s really important for my family. Maybe the info is on the site somewhere, but I couldn’t find it quickly or clearly. This is where it got annoying, I ended up spending too much time looking around and still didn’t feel confident enough to order, so I just gave up and bought from somewhere else.

I tried checking out, but the payment kept failing for no clear reason, and then my cart suddenly emptied. I gave it another shot, but after the second try I just gave up. My gut feeling was that the checkout process wasn’t reliable enough to keep messing with it

These were super soft and moist, not dry at all (which I always worry about). The texture was really nice and fresh.

The cake showed up late and I didn’t get any updates, which was really frustrating. On top of that, I kept having to go through verification again and again, which made the whole thing even more annoying. Not a great experience

So... the cake looked really when it arrived, and the presentation was lovely.

I didn’t feel like I could rely on them. It was hard to get a clear idea of what was going on, and most of the time I felt like I was just another ticket number in their system. I wouldn’t use them again — it just ended up being more hassle than it was worth

For what I paid, I’m happy with it. It’s one of those things where you feel like you got your money’s worth, like buying a decent coffee that’s actually good, or finding a shirt on sale that fits right, or getting a phone case that doesn’t fall apart after a week. It’s not trying to be super fancy or over-the-top, but it does the job and feels like a good value. I’d say it’s worth the money

I gave this as a gift and it was okay, but it didn’t feel as special as I was hoping. The overall presentation felt a bit plain, which seems preventable with a nicer touch or two

The person I sent it to said they liked the cake overall, but mentioned it was a little dry. So it wasn’t bad, just not amazing either. I also would’ve appreciated some kind of follow-up afterward, but I didn’t hear anything, which was a bit disappointing

I liked the cake overall. It wasn’t overly sweet like a lot of cakes can be, and the frosting was smooth without feeling too heavy, which I appreciated.
I’m giving it 4 stars because the filling felt like it could’ve had a bit more flavor, almost like they played it a little too safe there. Still, the sweetness was well balanced and it was easy to enjoy

I ordered from Simplycakeco because, for me, being able to customise the cake was the main thing. They had a decent range of flavours, colours, and options for the message on top, and that part felt straightforward to choose from.

Personally, I just found the customisation page a little vague in places. A few options weren’t totally clear, so I wasn’t always sure what could actually be changed or how it would look in the end. The cake was fine and still nice overall, but it didn’t come out quite how I had pictured it. I’d use them again, but I think the ordering process could be clearer

I did get the help I needed in the end, but, yeah... the reply was a bit slower than I expected. It wasn’t a huge issue, just kind of had to wait around longer than I hoped.

It tasted fresh, which I appreciated, but... yeah, the ingredients were just kind of basic. Not bad at all, just not something that really stood out to me.

I mean, the order did show up, but the tracking was kind of confusing. It seemed to lag for a while, so I wasn’t really sure where the package was until it finally arrived

The cake itself tasted okay, like not amazing but definitely decent, but the packaging was disappointing. The box showed up dented, and when I opened it the cake had clearly been sliding around inside because there was icing stuck to the side of the box. It just kind of made the whole thing feel messy before we even got to try it. I don’t know, for the price I was expecting it to be packed a lot more carefully. The flavor was alright, but the presentation and delivery really took away from the experience.

My order ended up arriving later than expected, which was kinda stressful because it was for a birthday and I was starting to worry it wouldn’t make it in time.
I got in touch with simplycakeco.com, and while it did take a little while to get a proper response, they eventually looked into it and came back with a fair solution.

The cake was nice when it arrived, so that part was fine. I just kinda wish the communication had been a bit quicker. Overall, not a bad experience, but not perfect either

I was a little disappointed by the vegan choices. There were only a few things I could pick from, and even the small sides felt limited. Would be great to see a bit more variety on the menu.
